Emerging Technologies

What inferences/assumptions can be made about the future technology?
Humans are going to rely on technology more in the future then now. We will become very dependent on technology.

What surprised you the most?
The technology that surprised me the most was the flying car. I wonder how we will be able to safely drive that new vehicle around and how efficient it would be.

What are the possibilities for the future in this area?
I feel that we will advance as a group and will be able to make many new forms of technology.

Megaupload New Zealand Bail

Kim Dotcom, the founder of Megaupload wants to seek bail from the New Zealand court. Megaupload was a site where you could download and share copyrighted files for free. Megaupload revived more than $175 million from illegal memberships, advertising, and downloads. The company had many luxury vehicles, yachts, and planes. Although Dotcom had many charges against him, he was still very calm going into court. Dotcom did not care about all of the people there in favor or against him, he stood in the courtroom and listened as his sentence was being arranged. If you would like to learn more about this hearing, feel free to look at the article on the link below.

Sony Play Station Vita

As some of you may have heard Sony/Play Station came out with a new handheld gaming device the Vita. The Vita has been released in Japan already but  wont be out for the United States until February 22, 2012. The Vita seams like a good gaming device for on the go, but according to smarthouse.com it wasn't so "hot" in Japan as they thought it would be. The sales dropped tremendously in the first five days of sale. The Vita card is much smaller then the regular Play Station memory cards. Also the software is different. I personally would buy it but that's just my opinion. For further information about the Sony Play Station Vita, click on the cites below.
